DESCRIPTION:
For the past 22 years, The Community House in Birmingham, has presented OUR TOWN Art Show and Sale. The show features Michigan artists, who compete to have their works shown. OUR TOWN has continued to provide a unique venue for Michigan artists to exhibit, demonstrate, and sell their works; 35% of the proceeds from sales benefit the outreach and educational programs of The Community House. The three day event is open to the public free of charge beginning October 16, 2008. Cash prizes are awarded each year by the juror to artists for their outstanding work. The evening preceding the show, on October 15, an Opening Night party will be hosted for Benefactors and guests.
